Changing or adding bright pillows to your bed and sitting areas in your master bedroom will add not only pops of color to your room, but life.  End your day and retreat to your room where comfortable, cozy pillows greet you with a cheerful hello.  Wake up in the morning to a fresh, cheerful start to your day.  Any color will do, as long as it’s all about you.  A simple attitude adjustment in the bedroom can go a long way when helping you beat the winter blues.

Add some life with plants

One of the things we dream of most in the winter is a warm vacation.  Travel is food for the soul, and we can curb that hunger right at home with elements that remind us of that warm, happy, tropical place.   Pretty palm plants (real or silk) can really help bring that tropical feel inside your home and their rich green color is sure to compliment the other color contrasts in your room.

Green is great

In fact, green is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony and freshness.  It has a great healing power and is restful to the eye.  Olive green is the traditional color of peace.  The winter blues don’t stand a chance!
